The BFSFA is to hold a Charity Football match between Sunday League Referees and Sunday League Managers on Thursday December 19th at The Mechanics Stadium, home of AFC Blackpool.
Manager of the Month for November 2013 is Michael McHenry, Manager of Division 3 team Hampton Road Social Club FC. Hampton won 3 out of 3 games since the last meeting, including a victory over Division 1's Wrea Green in the Gledhill Cup.
BFSFA Manager of the Month for October 2013 is Steve Spencer of Blackhurst Budd FC. 5 wins out of 5 since the last meeting. Closely matched though by Paul Ronson of Frenchman's Cove FC and Chris Paul of Metrostars FC. Collecting the award from the Chairman is Budd Secretary Paul Dossett.
Blackpool Boxer Brian Rose (WBO Light Middleweight Title Contender) has accepted the BFSFA's invitation to attend this season's Presentation Night in May 2014 - fight calendar permitting of course.

The BFSFA awards Scrolls every year for services to local football. Michael Cleary and Andrew Taylor, long-serving club organisers were presented with Scrolls by League President Peter Collins
The winners of the BFSFA 2012/13 Fair Play Award were Bloomfield Vets FC of the Premier Division. Manager Duncan Gouck was presented with the trophy by League Chairman Nigel Hough.
The Stan Bennett Award is the highest honour given out by the BFSFA. The 2013 Award was given to Mick Downer, presented by League President Peter Collins.
The FA Trial of Repeat Substitutions has been adopted for the BFSFA Season 2013/14. This means 5 named substitutes who can all roll on and roll off throughout the game. A player, having been substituted and left the pitch, becomes a substitute again and can rejoin the game.
