Darren Meehan of Blackpool Lane Ends FC has won the March 2011 G Casino BFSFA Manager of the Month Award. Fighting it out at the top of Division 3, the Marton-based pub side recently beat runaway leaders Boars Head. Daz was surprised at the award, "it's totally out of the blue but massive thanks to my assistant Steve Downing and the team for the great performances over the last few weeks especially the game against Boars Head. I also came on for 10 mins against No 4 Celtic and managed to show the lads I still have it - scoring a belter!
Mark Spedding of Quilligans FC won the G Casino BFSFA Manager of the Month Award for February 2011. Top of the Premier Divison, his team look favourites for another League Championship Trophy and are also going very well in this season's Gledhill Trophy.
