Blackpool Victoria Hospital FC are new to Fylde Coast Sunday football this season.  As we approach Christmas they're rock bottom of Division 4 after suffering fourteen league defeats from fourteen league matches.  They did manage a narrow 3-2 win in the opening round of the Gledhill Cup but were then quickly brought back to reality with a 21-1 thrashing by Northern Care Colts FC in Round 2.  Off the pitch, they've been taken over by a lad called Joe who will hopefully improve the organisation and structure of the club.  On the pitch, they have a number of enthusiastic players but need a new manager to try and turn things around - (The only way is up!).  The successful candidate will have to be committed in the face of adversity and they'll have to be able to attend every game as well as Thursday night training sessions.  I'm sure there's someone out there who fancies the challenge of turning round a team who has lost 14 out of 14 and is officially the worst adult football team on the Fylde Coast.  If this is you then please contact Joe as soon as possible on 07708 078986.  It's an emergency.

BFSFA Registration secretary Carole Cox is very active in her local Church - St. Jon Vianney & St. Monicas at Glastonbury Avenue.  On Sunday December 4th between 12 noon and 2pm they are having their Christmas Fair.   They really need prizes for Raffle and Tombola stalls.  Carole has already received three or four prizes from a number of our local football teams but is on the look out for more.  If you're in a position to help out in this worthy cause then please contact Carole on 764788 / 07866 543 107 or e- mail This email address is being protected from spambots.
